Pale in colour with a slight haze after pouring. Aromas slightly fruity - pears, yeast and hay along with the usual malt and citrussy hops. In taste this was reasonably bitter but a bit thin on flavour and lacking in body. A nice enough thirst quencher though.

No noise once the cap comes off and it appears still in the glass. A radiant light orange in colour, almost bright and headless bar a ring of white on the meniscus. Nose is predominately lemon peel, bitter orange and white Semillon grapes with just a touch of yeast and pine nuts. In the mouth it is quite weedy, lots of pine, nettles and gritty, dusty grain, straw and toothpick. Very dry. Long, long dry, gritty pine wood and dried bitter herbs swallow. Drew out and absorbed all the saliva in my mouth. Light body, very light, and almost still in feel with just a tease of carbonation up front. Lacks balance and is a bit messy flavour wise. Drinkable but not sessionable as it left me parched! (50cL, BBE 08/12, Greendale Farm Shop, Woodbury Common, Exeter, Devon)

50cl bottle from Moor & More Beer, Plymouth. Slightly hazy amber with a ring of translucent head; citrus and honey aroma; pleasant light citrus taste to strart, then watery; the finish has some grapefruit and gentle bitterness but is very thin.

Cask, gravity at Luton BF ’10. Pale gold with a small white head. Curious burnt match aroma, maybe with a hint of vinegar. Or tomato ketchup. Or popcorn. Taste was rather nasty, suggestive of corn or rice. Or Snickers bar. Slight bitterness. Didn’t work, I regret to say.
