Citrus-y hop aroma and flavor. Very little malt aroma... Sweetish malt flavor, with some light caramel and toast. A little nutty flavor in finish and aftertaste. Hop flavor is pretty nice, but there’s a somewhat harsh bitterness in aftertaste.

The nose is roasty and nutty with notes of coffee and chocolate. It has a nice, roasted, nutty flavor that exhibits good balance with the abundant piny hop notes. There are notes of toffee and coffee in the end as well. It’s very satisfying and drinkable with a soft medium body and dry finish. Very nice

Half liter bottle from Ale Yeah, Roswell. Pours a clear dark red color with a medium sized foamy light brown head. Good head retention. Aroma of floral, citrus hops, a soapy note and faint pale malts. The taste is brown malts, nuts, citrus hops, caramel and a faint bit of smoke. Medium bodied. Interesting.

Bottle shared by drew (from kan, i think). Pours a paler copper with a whitish head. Nose shows some black malt harshness, charcoal. Light caramel and subtle hopping. On tasting, moderate sweetness, more of that black malt-type harshness. Really clean with a creaminess to it. Really likeable but the black malt or dark chocolate malt is a bit rough.

pours like a root beer - slight pine/grapefruit aroma - flavors of grapefruit with a malt background. finishes the same.

Malty aroma has a spicy note, mainly cloves and cinnamon, and a hint of molasses. Pours a clear chestnut brown with a decent light tan head. Malty flavor has a woody, grassy hops overtone and subtle notes of brown sugar and cloves. Smooth, firm texture has plenty of strong fizz, leaving a fizzy, hoppy, slightly spicy finish. This cat definitely will mouse!

500mL bottle. Poured clear, medium brown with a fluffy, sticky beige head.. looked good in the glass. The aroma picked up sweeter, toasty molasses, nutty notes, and a bit of honey with fresh hops that were hard to place.. this had an interesting brightness to it, and I enjoyed it. The flavor found the same molasses plus some almond at the core.. fresh earthy and herbal bitterness around.. finished with good balance between big hops and nutty malts. Light-medium bodied and well-balanced.. moderate carbonation.. good stuff.

Poured from a 500 ml bottle. Aroma of citrus/spicy/floral/earthy hops, toffee, toast. The flavor is very similar, with the malts playing a bigger role. There is a slight coffee note. A really tasty brown ale.

500ml bottle. Pours a dark brown color with a medium white head. A nose full of brown malt and citrus hops. A big hoppy brew with bitterness at times, metallic, caramel, dusty malts. Pretty good, a bit inharmonious.
