Bottle and served in snifter, My 1st beer from this Utah brewery: The pour is a clean straw hue with a very fizzy head and okay lace. The aroma and taste is very earthy, bubblegummy, banana-ish and moderately funky. Heavy on the sulfur esters and bready malts. Some spice notes and effervescent mouth feel. More old school farmhouse than I expected... I sort of dig this but do wish the finish was cleaner and snappy.

Bottle from Utah liquor store. Pours lemon with an inch of white foam. Doesn’t leave a lot of lacing. A little bit of hoppiness. Has some funk on the tongue. Finishes dry. Decent but not amazing.

Bottle Thanks to Brian. Light yellow with a thin head.  Bubblegum doughy aroma hay and wheat. A touch of sweet grain.  Light sweet banana malts with a minty hop finish.  7/4/7/4/15

500 ml bottle pours a golden color with a nice white head. Aromas of belgin yeast, herbal, light spice. Light bodied, refreshing, good summer beer.

Bottle:   Very pale straw, slight haze, light carbonation, large sudsy white head, fairly decent lacing.   Pale floral and wheaty nose.   A little yeasty as well, but not too heavy.   Soft wheatiness up front, with a pale floral and yeasty background.   Pretty much tastes like it smells.   Not a real bright example, but also not heavy like so many American ones.   Backside shows some more woodsy like floralness.   Body and mouthfeel are average.   As it warms it picks up more of a low shrubby woodsy floral note.   A little different, thankfully not too heavy.   Enjoyable.   Thanks Dallas for the bottle!

Strykzone (5005) - Wood River, Illinois, USA - APR 29, 2013
Bottle from Hayduke. This was translucent golden and had a nice white fluffy head. I smelled grass and a bit of Belgian yeast with that sugar. Lemon grass was tasted and lead the flavor profile. The Belgian yeast and sugar notes were background. A bit of pepper came late. This is a nice summer beer and was appreciated during a homebrew session.

This was tasted with Strykzone (in person, believe it or not) in Wood River, IL while we were homebrewing. Pours a hazy yellow. Big foamy white head. Medium body with a carbonated mouthfeel. Nose of lemon hops and lots of barnyard funk. Nice flavorful finish. Good.

Bottle pour. Clear light gold with a lasting white head and nice lacing. Aroma is floral hops, Belgian yeast, light lemon notes, some wheat malt character. Taste is sweet flowers, white fruit, light pepper character from the yeast, some more floral hop character, with some sweet malt in the mid palate before moving to an effervescent and thirst quenching finish. Really nice!
