Good beer, citris smell, pours with a little head. Love both these breweries. The rye taste was suttle nice combo with the hops. Drank "snowed in" with the folks on New Years.

500mL bottle. Poured cloudy medium golden with a short, looser-bubbled white head.. set up decently in the glass. The aroma picked up fresh orange, mango, and grassy hoppage joined by spicy rye.. fairly generic pale malt backing, but it came together well. The flavor found pale malts and lesser bready notes at the core, with black pepper, rye, and citrus bitterness around.. hoppy finish with a good dose of warm, spicy rye. Medium-bodied with low-moderate carbonation on the palate.. good brew, but it needed a little something to hit the next level.

Golden, clear, persistent white head. Aroma of pilsner malt, some bready, earthy rye, spicy and resiny hops. Flavor: pilsner malt, some caramel, spicy rye and a little biscuit. Floral, resiny and citrusy hop flavors. A dry, clean finish with some lingering bitterness. Well made and very tasty.

Oh my, thanks local swap! Seriously awesome. Light gold pour with a small soapy white head. Juicy fruit hope aroma with some grass, toffee, and orange rind aroma. Medium bitterness, a touch of an odd edge on this one I can’t quite figure out, but it isn’t too distracting. Medium botty, long bitterness, decent carbonation for the style.

Bottle:   Dull golden, faint haze, light carbonation, moderate frothy white head, nice lacing.   Pithy nose, hoppy, but also some bright straw or hay.   Very much like an Imperial Pilsner in that it is grassy, but also has a hop aspect to it.   Seems bright on both fronts, hoppy and straw like.   Moderate to full body and mouthfeel.   Moreso on the hoppy side on the finish, slightly toasty.   Entertaining and interesting brew, slight shrubby after the finish.

(Bottle from Gription79!) Pours a clear dark golden color with an eggshell head that leaves some awesome lacing. Moderate carbonation. Aroma has some hay, grass, florals, citrus, and some spice. Taste is sweet with some pleasant bitterness and spice. Medium bodied and slick. Easy to drink. Good stuff!

Bottle from Craig - thanks! Pours clear yellow with a bit of a gold hue, active carbonation, and a thinnish white head that fades out to a foam slick. Aroma is rye with a clean malt profile and a touch of light hop bitterness. Taste is a nice balance of rye and complimentary hop bitterness over a clean malt profile that reminds me somewhat of a pilsner. Crisp, quenching mouthfeel. This is a great beer and an excellent balance between clean drinkability and enough substance to the taste to make it interesting.

500 ml bottle. Pours a clear golden hue with a medium very clean white head. The aroma is sweet grains and light hops, lemons. The flavor is interesting; spicy rye, lots of clean Pilsner malt, lemon and citrus hop elements, very juicy at times, lingering earthy Pils notes, a bit of bitterness in the tail. Clean and tasty.
