Draft at the restaurant with Hike and Diane. Overall a really nice porter. Long lasting head. The aroma and flavor were nice coffee, dark malt and milk chocolate. Very tasty considering the session ABV.

Roasted, caramel aroma; cocoa-ish. Coffee roasted flavor, with some subtle smokiness. Pretty dry. A little hop fruitiness in finish.

On tap downtown
Appearance: Black with a medium sized tan head and lots of sticky lacing
Aroma: Roasted malts, metallic and coffee
Taste: Roasted malts, coffee, milk chocolate, metallic and light smokiness
OK, the metallic took away from a nice beer.

UPDATED: FEB 27, 2013 On draft at the Fashion Place pub. Dark with off white head. Hints of diacytal. Chocolate, roasted malts, caramel. The diacytal ruined this beer for me.
Had again at the Bayou. Diacetyl was not noticeable, the lines may have been dirty. Very clean, showing the chocolate character. Finishes dry. Nice and easy drinking.

Draft pint at brewpub. Standard appeal -- black like a porter. Distinct chocolatey aroma, but this drinks with more of a bitter edge and a hint of ashy roast.

Taster – Red Rocks Brewing Co. – Salt Lake City, UT – Nice malt and hops aroma. This had a great flavor and the chocolate and coffee flavors where rich. The malts where light as to keep the alcohol low this beer was pretty darn good.

A nice find at Red Rock while escaping some holiday shopping. On tap. Pours a dark brown color with a medium tan head. The aroma was a real surprise; lots of hops! The aroma was full of citrus hops, some light caramel, roasted malt, and coffee. The flavor was very nice; initially a strong hoppy zest, some chocolate and dry roasted flavors also. Not very sweet, some light bitterness in the finish. Both milky and quite hoppy. Very interesting.
