Red Rose Target

Cask at Wellington Arms, Bedford. Slightly hazy gold. Buttery aroma, sour milk taste. Slight bitterness. Either it’s a poor beer, or it’s past its best. Probably the latter.

Cask Handpump at the Bhurtpore Inn, Aston 29/07/2007 Small white head. Hoppy aroma. Clear golden coloured floral and hoppy with a crisp and dry slightly creamy finish.

Cask handpull at Ship & Mitre, Liverpool. Pale gold colour with no head. Some faint hop on aroma. Bit of juicy peach fruit in mouth. Bit watery and flat in mouth. Has a bit of tingle on the end. Not a great bitter/golden ale, just dull.
