Gravity cask at the Bree Louise, London. Pours a rich, clear orange-amber with a mild cream head. Great hop aroma, tons of fresh grapefruit and pine, along with minor bread notes. Flavor is dominated by the hops, with a pronounced bitterness consisting of orange, grapefruit, dirt and pine. There are light malt undertones. Medium to full in body with fine to average carbonation. The finish is resinous and bitter, with very faint caramel sweetness. Superb beer. I almost feel like I’m back in the States.

Cask at Ealing beer fest. Aroma is bursting with american hop resin and citrusy goodness, but also has an english earthy character too it too. Taste is similarly awsome, the only beer i went back to over the whole fest.

Cask gravity at Ealing BF 2008. Amber/red colour with lasting beige head. Blimey, that’s hoppy. Bit syrupy on the malts. I mean completely unbalanced, but a huge amount of grapefruity american hop. Stunning. Malts are a bit too sweet maybe.

A Mes rate: Gravicask at Ealing Beer Festival.
Orange amber, a very good white head and superb condition. Massive orange and resinous hop aroma with some ginger, spice and some excelent underlying malt. Massive citrus, lemon, orange and spice flavour. Lovely ginger notes. Smooth as hell delivery. Superb length, glorious lingering grassy hops. Fantastic fruit in the finish. Bloody excellent.

Gravity cask at Ealing beer fest. Dark gold with a white head and plenty of condition, despite being the last pint out of the barrel. Plenty of hops in the aroma. Excellent mouth feel full of hop resin. Very citrically bitter flavour, but well balanced. The first beer I’ve tried from this brewer and I have to say I’m very impressed.
