Cask at the Old Cross Tavern, Hertford on 3 Sept 2010. Amber with a bubbly quick-collapse grey head and a small amount of lacing. Very fruity aroma of berries and grapefruit. Grass, grapefruit and subtle honey in-mouth, and a strong but rounded grapefruit finish. Zingy mouthfeel. Superb!

Cask gravity at St Albans BF 2007. Gold with a haze, thin bubbly beige head. Grapefruit American hop aroma. Quite a sweet grapefruit I thought. Could really do with more malt. Hops are classy. Good grapefruit. It’s an APA.

From cask. Pours clear and golden orange to yellow with a small white and lacing head. Aroma is crisp hoppy, citrusy and grapefruity. Sweet fruity impression. Dry and caramelish malt and distinct grapefruity hoppy into a dry a bitter finish.

(Cask at GBBF, London Earl’s Court, 5 Aug 2010) Golden amber colour with frothy, off-white head. Fruity, hoppy nose with notes of orange peel and dried apricots. Fruity taste with orange, dried apricots and lots of fresh citric hops. Solid malt foundation with a touch of sweetness. More than medium body. Nice and tasty with a fresh hop character.

Cask (GBBF 2010) - Gold/amber in colour. Grapefruit, pineapple and peach in the aroma. Bitter and hoppy taste with tangy grapefruit, pineapple and passion fruit detected. Tasty and enjoyable, even though it could do with a bit more balance.

Cask conditioned - gravity dispense - Leicester BF. A golden coloured ber with beige patches of head. The aroma is very fruity with orange hoppy notes. Very fresh, pleasant nose. The taste is sharp citric hoppy. Good oranges flavours, but maybe a little bit too harsh. Reasonable

15th July 2010. Chelmsford Beer Festival. Slightly hazy gold beer. Residual suddy head. Semi dry and semi criso palate. Crisp orangey hops with a little marmalade and a little spice. A whisper of sulphur doesn’t detract too much. Good effort!

Cask@St. Albans. Some very light aromatic hops in the nose, some citrus/tropical fruit aromas noticed, very subtle though. The flavour shows a slightly sticky caramel sweetness, then some sappy, slightly piney hop notes come through in the finish. Lightly sticky, with less bitterness than i was hoping for.
