Cask gravity at the Watford Beer Festival 2012. Poured a clear copper, with a rocky white head. Aroma of grass, esters and mango. Caramel and citrus in the flavour, with some grain. Finish was resin, pine and peal.

Pale amber with white rapidly disappearing head. Surprisingly not over-hoppy but slightly vinous with good mouthfeel. Overall pleasant and drinkable without being in any way outstanding.

Cask conditioned at Far From the Madding Crowd, Oxford. Hazy amber with slight head. Easy, slightly sweet, biscuity, malty body with a leafy, earthy hop note, quite distinct with a hint of green tea. Pretty decent.

Cask at the Craft Beer Co, London on 29th October 2011. Hazy amber with thin dying head and almost no lacing. Apple and yeast aroma. Herb, grassy hop and "grannysmith" apple blend with berry fruits in-mouth. Herbs and fresh apple zing in the aftertaste. Zingy mouthfeel.

A clear "English" pale ale with a lasting head. Tastes of malted (oats). Very smooth but not clingy finsh.

Cask conditioned gravity dispense Merchants Inn Rugby. A copper coloured headless beer. The aroma is hoppy and there are sweet fruity notes too. Nice and full and fruity in the mouth. Good hops and well balanced. A tasty beer.
