Despite the name, this is actually a very subtle flavoured beer that is very light and very very drinkable. A pleasure.

Archetypal Anglo-American with strong citrus aroma, a long bitter finish and flowery taste; perhaps a more robust body than some of its ilk, but still a very good refresher on a warm summer’s day.

(Cask at Dog & Duck, Soho, London, 22 April 2012) Golden amber colour with creamy, off-white head. Fruity, hoppy nose with citrus, grass, hay and biscuity malt. Fruity, malty taste with notes of grass, citrus, biscuits and a herbal (almost like hemp) bitterness in a fairly dry finish. Light body, quite dry. Tasty and nice.
