Bottle from the brewery. This are clearly not bottled conditioned which is a big disappointment because they taste so much better on cask. I will try to re-rate on cask soon. Chesnut brown, clear, white head. Very little on the nose. Taste is caramel, slight oxidisation (bottles are 3 months old), bit of damp cellar, some grain, little bit of black tea, little musty and fusty.

Cask. Aroma of stewed fruits. Amber rather than chestnut in the light.I cant say the creamy texture promised was evident from the first but a very drinkable bitter with a definite layer of malty biscuit on the palate.

Flaske 500ml fra Kjeller 5. Drukket på Rundvannet 21 Mar 15. Mørk gyldenbrun. Høyt tett skum som varer lenge. Litt filigranser. Beskjeden aroma av fjøs. Dette preget blir sterkere i smaken. Ikke bra.

Off white head, clear golden amber body, cloudy thick fields of lacing. Aroma; plum peel, grassy hops, fruity malts, grapes, wine, toffee, small honey notes. Taste; smoky hops, plum peels, fairly roasted malts, tobacco, nutshell, grapes, and some fruity toffee. Normal body, feel and carbonation. Grassy, smoky, ash-malty finish. Nice and interesting.
