3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Cask gravity at Reading BF 08. Gold colour with lasting beige head. Slightly cheesey hop. Tasty. Hop is sherberty. Bit of depth. Fine, but a pretty standard golden beer.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Pours a golden, slightly hazey colour with a reasonable amount of white head. Strong citric aroma and a slightly unusual taste in that there’s a bit of a metallic edge and some straw flavours. Quite nice, but not, perhaps, one of their better beers.

A Mes Rate:
Cask at The Gatehouse ’Spoons. A little too much iron otherwise it’s a wheaty English pale that is verging on lager. Slightly hoppy. A little more malt. Reasonably balanced just not particularly much happening.
