boto (1224), Granby, Connecticut, USA Dec 12, 2007 Draught @ Brewpub: This one pours a very dark hazy amber color. There was very little bit of an off-white head. There was almost no lacing. The aroma is good. There was a bit of spices to the nose. Some malts also, but no sweetness. The spices are up front in the taste, but not overdone. There is a hint of cranberries to it also. No real sweetness to the taste. Well Balanced & nice. FROTHINGSLOSH (1513), GREENSBURG, Pennsylvania, USA Dec 9, 2007 Sampled on draft at the brewery this beer poured a dark caramel-amber color with a medium sized tang head. The aroma was strong and vibrant sweet, tangy and very tart with elements of orange peel and ripe fruits. The flavor was sweet, tart and tangy with notes of citrus and berry. Rather reminiscent of Spree candy in the aroma and flavor. Word is they used juniper berries, cranberries and orange peel in making this one.
