Commercial Description:
Our Imperial Amber is a big, yet delicate amber ale, conditioned with Willamette hops at the rate of 1 lb/bbl. These hops provide a smooth, herbal bouquet and a flavor reminiscent of freshly brewed tea.

Sampled on draft at the brewery this beer poured a dark amber color with a medium sized creamy white head. The aroma was tangy and fruity. The flavor was dryish, musty and had a tangy and fruity undertone. There was a hint of pepper underneath and a noted chewy and bready element. A light bitterness came out towards the finish. There was only a trace of alcohol on the flavor and no alcohol burn. The maltiness is rather complex and interesting. Very nice.
