Looked like a beer I havent rated so picked up a sixer. Aroma smells like normal bmc. Gold body with whie head. Flavor has some corn and barley to to but not much more. Not a very refreshing brew.

Bottle poured into a shaker. Pours a pale clear yellow with minimal head. Aroma of corn and grains. Taste is about the same. I actually wasn’t paying attention when picking up a 6pk of Red Stripe for my lady and got this instead. She thought I was trying to tell her something and got mad...go figure. Overall, it’s like most other crappy light beers. Nothing to write home about.
3.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20 ronaldtheriot (362) - Laplace, Louisiana, USA - JAN 9, 2012
Red Stripe Light has a very thin, white head and a clear, golden appearance with streaming bubbles and almost no lacing. The aroma is of sweet barley, paper, and a slight spiciness. Taste is of sweet biscuit, paper, a touch of hops, and water. Mouthfeel is light and watery, and Red Stripe Light finishes crisp, refreshing, and dry. Overall, this is a better-than-average light beer. RJT

Corn nose. Crystal clear yellow, thin head. Weak lemony tang. Nothing objectionable, nothing much of anything at all. Unremarkable.
1.3 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 3/20 RobertDale (830) - Lansing, Kansas, USA - OCT 28, 2011
Sample at KC Beerfest 10-22. Comes pale yellow with an average white head. Faint aroma of grain and malt. Taste is watered down grain and malt. Not much here at all.

Not too shabby but I happen to like Red Stripe. Clean dry malts, not much in the way of hops, just a touch of balance at the finish. A good pale lager here. Pale golden yellow.
0.9 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 3/20 seymour (604) - Saint Louis, Missouri, USA - OCT 7, 2011
Drank directly from bottle. Standard light lager characteristics. Virtually no hops aroma. Essentially a thinner, watered-down version of regular Red Stripe. Bland, but still has an alright dry finish. Fine on the beach if it’s really cold. Better than Bud Light and the like, and definitely a cooler-looking bottle.

Bottle: Long time ago it was safer to drink beer than water, this is what is must have tasted like! I would choose this over water under the sun in Jamaica. Food Pairing: Anything and everything (like water).
