12 oz. bottle. This is a new thing in Georgia, I believe. Head didnít last but a few seconds. Gold transparent appearance. Aroma is heavy on the grass (no, not cannabis), and there is a slightly sweet caramel malt aroma in there as well. Fairly pungent brew. Goes down easy with the same thing(s) i.e. grassy flavor and slightly sweet caramel malt flavor. Overall, not bad, and fairly smooth. Not dangerously smooth, but smooth enough.

I had a ton of these during my honeymoon in Jamaica when the goal was purely to get drunk without adding too many calories since I was gorging on all-inclusive food. Not very good. A bit of corn and a slight sourness. Very little else going on.

1.3 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 5/20
Bottled. Lighter in color and more water presence... otherwise a very similar brew. Corn makes that same sour then sweet feel ending lightly bitter.

On tap in Jamaica. It isnít nearly as watery as most light lagers and it still tastes relatively close to the original. Not much to it, but itís par for the course with american macro light beers.

2.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
Another successful beer run for my dad on a holiday has brought RSL to my lips. Poured out a crystal clear light gold brew, average white foamy cap and more random lacing than more low % brews. Also, a thin cap has been retained throughout the entire sampling. Hey! This sucker only has 35 calories! If I drink ten of them not only will I not be drunk but Iíll also be bloated and disappointed too. 95% grain and 5% sweetness for the aroma. Not totally flavourless but just as I expected: dull, grain and a weak hop. Very gassy, a bit drying that I think Iím confusing with tons of grain. Finishes with a light bitterness. As far as light beers go... well... light beers fín suck balls.

2.7 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle as shown in Montego Bay, Jamaica. Pours a clear golden with a small frothy white head that diminishes quickly. The aroma is a pale corn malt. Thin mouthfeel and a bit watery but very smooth and easy to drink. Good for how hot Jamaica was that day. Enjoyed several that day.

1.6 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20
Bottle at Margaritaville in the Montego Bay airport: Pale golden with a fizzy white ring for head. Mild sweet pale malt aroma. Fizzy and thin. Papery flavor upfront with leads to a touch of doughy sweetness and almost no bitterness. Lacks character, I’ve had worse.

Draft on honeymoon in Jamaica: Not a fan of light beers but this one was easy to drink. Not to shabby.....for a light beer.

Only in Jamaica can you get this to my knowledge. And it should stay there. This lighter version of Red Stripe is watery and tasteless... Bud Ice anyone?

Surprisingly enjoyed this over plain Red Stripe, though it may have been that Jamaican heat. Goes down very smooth, though that doesnít mean taste isnít there. Fairly watery, but it was perfect for on the beach. Definitely surpasses Corona as a beach beer.
