1.4 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 5/20 GT2 (3440) - Washington DC, USA - FEB 23, 2011
11.2oz found in Barbados. I didn’t even know this existed!! The pour is a clear straw to almost clear (SRM:1) with a detergent white head that leaves no lace. Aroma is thick old candies, old lemon drops. Maybe light vanilla. Taste is watery, some odd smoke and burning plastic, fireplace, soapy water. Actively offensive. Palate is watery and full on dish water. Gross.

Bottle. This beer is awful. Yellow color. Some head that goes away quickly. Not much aroma. Tastes like hay.

average frothy white head. fair lacing. mostly diminishing. sparkling thin light yellow body. aroma: light bread heavy hoppy. if and ff: light bitter sweet; short duration. palate: light body, watery texture, lively carbonation, metallic finish. levíssimo dulçor de mel e toques metálicos, o leve amargor não lembra lúpulo, lembra água com gás em alguns momentos, 2 s

Bottle. Poured a clear yellow color with no head. Aroma was grass and corn. Flavor was water, malts and grass. No real flavor. Very thin. Not a good beer. Better than Red Stripe in my opinion, but both suck.
1.1 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 3/20 otakuden (1490) - Vero Beach, USA - FEB 3, 2011
Appearance: very clear with faint straw and hay colors. White head vanishes almost immediately; fizzy. Swirls with nothing.
Nose: wonderbread crust. Waxy lemon peel. Dry grain husks and white rice.
Palate: grainy and bready in the middle; white wonderbread with a touch of sweetness. Cold corn kernels. Watery finish. Hard lemon in the back top of wallow.
Final Thoughts: not that the regular Red Stripe is all that great, but the light was light alright. I don’t stop at Go and head straight to Jail.

bottle - Pours pale, clear yellow-gold with a small white, fizzy head. There’s a mild grainy malt aroma and well, a mild grainy malt taste. It’s light bodied and on the watery side. This beer just isn’t good at all. It’s kind of gross actually.

On tap
I am glad this was "free" because even at that price it was hardly worth the effort. I managed to take a few sips before dumping the rest down the nearest sink. I know one doesn’t go to Jamaica for the beer but this is the most boring bland thing I had in a long time. Only the warmth and beach atmosphere make it the least bit compelling.
Aroma / Appearance - The crisp white head and lazy lime colored body were your standard fizzy lager. Second runnings of grain, lime juice, and stale hops create a boring texture which is soon easily forgotten.
Flavor / Palate - Grainy with a faint malt presence this has enough taste to not be completely plain. It is so weak though that one sip of water blew away any finish. This might as well have been the liquid at the bottom of the drain at a beer bar for everything positive in it. Give it a miss unless for some reason you like macro produced swill.
