2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
A: The pour is a straw yellow color with a fluffy white head that dies down to a thin layer of foam.
S: A surprisingly malty aroma without quite as much in the way of corn or rice as most light lagers. A hint of skunk, but otherwise just fairly sweet and light with a hint of bread.
T: Decent flavor, but a bit unimpressive (not shocking, though). Lightly sweet grain with a hint of corn and a light bitterness. This one is actually fairly dry.
M: The body is, of course, light with a lively carbonation that pricks the tongue.
D: If you’re going to drink a light lager, this might actually not be an awful way to go. By no means amazing, but there are definitely worse options.

Bottle. Poured clear pale color with a medium frothy white head that was mostly lasting with fair lacing. Light to moderate sweet grainy aroma. Light body with a smooth texture and soft carbonation. Light to medium sweet flavor with a light to medium sweet finish of short duration. My expectations where not met.

2.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 7/20
Bottle… Clear straw-colored lager with a fizzy, quickly dissipating, white head. The bouquet is all about pale grains and spicy European hops. Light to medium-bodied with a slick mouthfeel and tickling carbonation. The flavor tilts toward the sweet side of balance - clover honey. Flavor-wise, the hops are really a non-factor. Zippy, moderately sweet finish.

1.5 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 4/20
Tasted from a 12 oz. bottle purchased in Fort Collins, Colorado. Pours a light, clear-yellow body with little head. Skunky head and light skunky body. On top of that, it’s only 3.6% ABV!

12 ounce bottle from Whole Foods Market, Charlottesville, VA. Pours a clear golden color with a thin fizzy white head that dissipates quickly. The aroma is grass and grain with not much character beyond that. The taste is grainy with metallic notes and a bit of a sweet finish. Thin bodied. 5/19/10

1.4 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 5/20
11.2oz found in Barbados. I didn’t even know this existed!! The pour is a clear straw to almost clear (SRM:1) with a detergent white head that leaves no lace. Aroma is thick old candies, old lemon drops. Maybe light vanilla. Taste is watery, some odd smoke and burning plastic, fireplace, soapy water. Actively offensive. Palate is watery and full on dish water. Gross.

330ml from a supermarket in Rockley preloading in room 2a for another night of Bajan merriment. Pale and fizzing with lively carbonation and a loose white tuft. Saline sour grain and rice nose like Bud or equivalent. OK weakly lemony flavour with rice softness, rubber and phosphorous taints. Deeper biscuit hints. Empty finish. Redundant pisswatter after 2 buckets of Banks on Carlisle Bay, more Banks, 2 rum and cokes and a cup of tea.
