bergstaden (99), Røros, Norway May 18, 2009 Clear golden color - taste of malts and a hint of hop bitterness in the background - ok beer easy to drink Berley31 (107), New Brunswick, Canada May 17, 2009 Bottle. Small, white head (not a bad size for a pale lager) that fades quickly, with fair lacing. Color is light yellow, with a very clear body and no particles. Aroma is what you would expect, with maybe some fruit present? Thin texture and a light body, with a fair amount of carbonation and a very short-lasting finish and flavor. Crisp and refreshing, one of the better beers of its class and great for summer. Plux (4), Norrköping, Sweden does not count May 15, 2009 Armoa is grainy with some hint of grassy. Taste of grains, somwhat sweet. A thin finish. BigBeer45 (676), Troy, Michigan, USA May 14, 2009 Updated: May 20, 2009Had this on tap and in the bottle, very pale gold with some brown color, has a large white ’carbo’ head and the bubbles keep coming, little malt aroma and taste with very little hop bitterness on the palate, lots of carbonation on the tongue, with sort of a dry crisp finish (I think from the carbonation), I did not get any off aromas or flavors, I was expecting more for what was paid for this beer, I guess you pay for the beer being from Jaimaca? I can see why this beer is made light, they need a thirst quencher and something that an be gulped down all day long in the Carribean climate, For a comparison price wise Pilsner Urqell is cheaper and a much better beer, the bottles do remind me of when my dad used to drink the Stroh’s stubby bottles back in the 60’s and 70’s, anyway do not expect much whether you get this in bottles or on tap. aguyintx66 (78), Humble, Texas, USA May 11, 2009 Bottle Pours a clear gold color with a white head. Aroma of corn. Has a corn taste to it. drseusszb200 (183), Florida, USA May 9, 2009 yay lager. pours golden with a head that fades rather quickly taste is like all lagers. leaves with a light aftertaste. bluecollarboy (36), Illinois, USA May 9, 2009 Pours a nice, medium bodied head, light in color. Aroma of grains, particularly hops. Flavor is semi-bitter, with a smooth, clean finish, leaving a somewhat of a bitter afterbite. Soft carbonation makes for an easy drink. Overall, a decent brew with an affordable pricetag. Maltajo (103), TARRYTOWN, New York, USA May 7, 2009 12 oz. Bottle. Blondies NYC. Nice pour. Light head. Light Lager. Light everything.
