COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
First brewed in 1938.
It is a light alcohol drink with not too strong bitterness but rather soft taste; therefore, it's easy to drink it up.

Bottle. Pours a straw color with a small white head. Very little color in this beer. The aroma is malty, floral, citrusy and this one has a metallic smell. Not much carbonation and very little body. The flavor though is pretty good, a nice malt beginning. slight bitterness, then alcohol taste at the end. Really light and easy to drink. Good on a hot day.

Great flavour, great appearance, great over all beer. Only lacks a little in the aroma but other than that a very refreshing crisp lager. Recommend!

Bottle in St. Maarten. Grassy corn aroma. Pale golden yellow colour. Bland corn biscuit vegetable flavour. Watery but sharp. Poor lager.

This beer is ok at best. I think it is overrated because of the hype of Jamaican Beer and advertising. Drinkable, but nothing great about this beer.

A pale yellow pour with a white head. The aroma is grainy with some slight skunk. The taste is light, clean, and watery with lively carbonation.

Consumed on a sunny day in Montego Bay, this is certainly not up to the standards of many craft beers but it has its own role. Aromas and flavors were light, consisting of grassy and cereal grain components. Best consumed cold, and on a Jamaican beach if at all possible.

Bottle. Golden body, very faint head. Weak phenolic aroma. Taste is corn-sweet. Thin mouthfeel, sharp carbonation. Bad and yet badly overpriced.
