Poured into a glass from a bottle. Aroma is sweet, all malt. Appearance is super pale golden with a fairly large head that dissipates pretty quickly. Taste is sweet, almost like fruity pebbles. Also some cereal grain notes come through. Not terrible for the style but way over priced.

Bottle (670ml): Almost non-existant with regards to smell. Some very faint hints of grain but hardly anything at all. Quite typical of most pale lagers & is semi-skunky although not unpleasant because of this. A clear, pale yellow straw colour with pletny of bubbles. Settles with a thin lacing of a head around the top & nothing more. Malty in taste with a very mild bitter finish that is quite crisp. The light side of medium and very smooth to drink. This one is crisp & rather refreshing. Above average for the style & refreshingly crisp to drink. The lack of smell is annoying somewhat although this would be a great session lager.

Had this at Sandals, and got me started on drinking beer. It is very easy to polish these off in the sun, but the metallic taste can be undesirable.

God awful, tastes like a skunked lager but yet it comes in a brown bottle. Teh bottle is cute though.

Somehow I don’t ever remember trying this before, which seems odd.
Initial smell of a small skunk upon opening bottle, poured clear, light yellow with a creamy head. In glass, aroma is very slight, and of a generic beer nature. Medium carbonation - an appropriate level for this lager. Slightly sweet taste, smooth on the palate, and goes down very easy. Perfectly unoffensive, though rather boring, really. Red Stripe is okay - that’s it - and I probably won’t buy it again, unless I find myself in Jamaica and it is very cheap by virtue of being a domestic brand. Not worth the price in the US, doesn’t live up to the hype.

Clear yellow with a white head. Aroma is light malty and fruity. Flavor is medium sweet and nearly without bitterness. Sweetish finish. Watery and soft. 200910

It’s beer, hurray beer! The commercials alone make you want to drink this.
