First brewed in 1938.
It is a light alcohol drink with not too strong bitterness but rather soft taste; therefore, it’s easy to drink it up.
Brewed for the UK market by Charles Wells since 1976.
Brewed for US market at City Brewery’s Latrobe plant since 2012.

It is not a crisp as the other lagers that I had before. It resembles more of a weak Dixie Lager. It does have a little malty sweetness to it. The body and head are normal for a lager.

A decent beer is all you can call this. I didn't mind drinking a few but stay away from drinking a lot of these. Nice aroma with an okay appealing taste.

Sweet taste and aroma. Nothing special but a nice average beer. Is very light and not sweet enough to be a true lager. Ok, but not worthy of cost.

I think Red Stripe is an OK beer. You can't drink too many or they really start to taste odd, but a few are OK. Did they steal this bottle from my Dad's old Schmidt's collection? Sort of sweet, with pretty nice body for a lager. I'll drink it again someday.

Overpriced, truly average in every way. The commercials for it are great. If you are going to buy Jamaican spirits, go for rum and leave the beer alone.

Now, this is a nice little lager. Besides the fact that is comes in a cool little bottle, it also tastes great. By great I mean great for the only beer that those Jamacan's export. It's got a nice smooth flavor and if you listen to Bob while you drink it you might just get a little different kind of feeling.

Creamy phenols and alcoholic mash...Not that I was expecting much better, but the next time I'll use fresh water as a palate cleanser...

Brewed in Engeland, says the label. Not that it matters. Cornaroma. Sweet and bland, corny lager. No hops, cardboard flavor. Thin, cork flavor, if possible. This beer really sucks!

Golden yellow colour with a small but lasting head. Straight forward lager with nothing offensive. Yeasty soapy aroma with some malt flavours.
