Pale yellow, with negligible head. Slight hops and malt taste, with a lot of carbonation. Finishes rather bland and slightly astringent.

UPDATED: APR 14, 2004 This is a decent beer to drink on a hot summer day. Nothing to go out of your way for. I like the thought of drinking this in Jamaica...eventhough I haven't.

Bottled, Pasteurised. Pale yellow fizzy beer. Drunk just to rate, things are getting bad! Awful sweet soft malt beer with very few redeeming features.

(US bottle) For the price, you can do much better. It tastes a little skunky with a light, hoppy finish. Nothing special, and certainly not a bargain.

3.3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
This beer would probably taste like budweiser in the states, but in the Virgin Islands this stuff tastes like heaven. Hoppy tastes makes it refreshing when cold. Don't drink from can, those are made in Britan.

Pale yellow, lots of CO2. Small vanishing white head. Strange skunky vegetable aroma. Crisp carbonated mouthfeel. Oily, slighlty hoppy aftertaste. (2/2/3/2/3 1.2)
Re-rated, Jamaican version (BBE 03/2006)
Pale golden color, decent white head. Grassy hoppy (a bit skunky) nose. Carbonated sweet malty taste, very light palate - watery. Sweetish aftertaste, no hops found. (3/2/3/2/7 1.7)

On tap at the Red Lion, Kings Heath, Birmingham. I've had this a few times before the days of RB, but this was the first time on draught. Surprisingly decent - fresh, light and predictably clean. Fairly rich and malty too. Equally starnge, this was actually pretty creamy, leaving speckled froth down the inside of the glass.

Very unimpressive. Goes down like a Keystone Light (basically, water), yet tastes like a Miller Light. Drinking out of this foresaken bottle makes me feel like a hobo.

Contract brewed in UK. Looks like a beer, smells like the can it comes in. Very sweet with no bitterness. Another country scored.

Sure tastes great on the beach in the Caribbean. Sure tastes crummy at home. Indistinguishable from any of a hundred other swilling brands - too sweet, chemical tasting with the feel of fake carbonation.
