First brewed in 1938.

I like the painted on label. Taste was good, but not great, better than the average macrobrewery. Little head.

I picked up this beer because of the ghetto bottle. It was surprisingly good tasting with only a slight aftertaste.

I picked up a 6 pack on a whim and did not regret buying it. Enjoyed the experience.

Vague hopping in this wea, but very drinkable lager which nicely complements spicy foods. A light-bodied, better than average American Standard.

straw color; respectable head. fresh light honey aroma. i guess i got a good bottle ’cause mine was brisk, somewhat tart, refreshing, certainly not objectionable; you’d drink it and be grateful if that’s all that was available, particularly on the island and after a big ol’ gnarly spleef.
