Botnik (101), Carrollton, Texas, USA Oct 20, 2008 I tried this at a birthday party with a dismal beer selection. Since birthdays repeat, I tried it again a year later. Red Stripe has a faint spice background which makes it more interesting than most American lagers. Jerre (1755), Waregem, Belgium Oct 12, 2008 Tasted 08.10.’08

Info: 330ml bottle, 9/10-2008 GMUcrew7 (353), Mason, Ohio, USA Oct 6, 2008 Bottle from my honeymoon in St Thomas. Pours nice light golden color with small white head that leaves only a small trace. Faint fruit and hop aroma, not much else. Flavor has a mild fruit accent, very light hop and malt characteristics. Enjoyable here on the beach under the hot sun, but I certainly won’t seek it out back home. Fearless99 (14), Oregon, USA Oct 5, 2008 Pale in color. Watery in flavor. Aroma is nearly non-existent. The only aroma I experienced ever with this beer is a slight skunk. Pours thin, no head, no lacing from the standard Red Stripe bottle. Taste has some mild skunk and little else. About the best use for this beer is a lawnmower beer. There isn’t much to expect. Guinnessman (88), VACAVILLE, California, USA Oct 5, 2008 Pours cloudy. Smells like any other cheap beer. Upon my first taste, I realized that the Jamaicans had carbonated and bottled bong water. JK54B (913), Helsinki, Finland Sep 29, 2008 Pale hey coloured. Mild slightly hoppy nose. Pale head. Slightly sweet mild taste. Waterly and thin. Mild hoppiness. A 0,33L bottle from local shop. ewestern (198), Ohio, USA Sep 29, 2008 Golden color with a medium white head that last s and leaves some lacing. Mostly citrus aroma with a slightly skunky undertone. Banana flavor with a slight skunkiness again. Crisp finish with a banana twist to it.
