Poured from 12 oz bottle in pilsner glass. Appearance: 1" sudsy white head drops quickly with some nice lacing. Color is clear pale straw with abundant streaming carbonation. Aroma: corn sweetness and lightly toasted barley. Mouthfeel: light and crisp with a pleasant dry finish. Flavor: pleasant combination of barley sweetness with some corn and a mild hop in the finish. Overall: easy drinking and enjoyable.

I like the old school type stubby bottle (smaller actually). Did not get a decent size head from this one. Pretty much evaporated a minute later. Good lacing and average carbonation. Light golden appearance. Lots of grainy type aromas , wheats, barely noticeable malts. Ok mouthfeel. Flavours are pretty much same as aromas, grains/wheats, hops seem distant, a bit of sweetness on the palate. Just another average beer, still good enough for a repeat.

Pint bottle and drank straight out of it: This is not too shabby and I even detect a brief shining moment of hops, not a lot of adjunct notes either. I am enjoying this much more that I did last summer. Time for some Reggae, Ska, and Oi!

Tasted from bottle. Pours a pale clear yellow with white head. Aroma is sweet and grainy/breads. A little caramel. Taste is essentially zero bitterness and moderate sweetness. Taste is mild and mostly for drinking on hot days. Some grainy and medicinal flavor with a little caramel. Better than some macros but not by much. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

It’s a decent beer. You should probably save this one for when you go to Jamaica, it’s probably cheaper there. Not worth the money for what I paid for it in the US. No aroma, looks good, the taste is above average, overall it’s an average beer.

Red Stripe. It’s beer, Mon. Always reminds me of vacation and Jamaica, and relaxation. While nothing special taste or texture wise, it is a crisp light lager/pilsner that Never disappoints.
