UPDATED: MAR 19, 2010 Pretty good beer. Bottle is oddly shaped, but still a very drinkable casual beer.

Bottled: Pours a rather pedestrian clear yellow with a fuzzy white head. Aromas of solvent with a bit of artificial floral scent. Flavor not really there: very watery, with a little sour solvent taste. Not an offering to the privy demons, but not one I’d buy again.
1.4 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 7/20 basspro76 (423) - New York, USA - FEB 18, 2010
A watery, straw flavored beer that should fall under the "light" category. Just enough of a bitter taste at the end to make you cringe.

How sad is this? After all the dank beers I have enjoyed, Red Stripe will be my 100th F’N rating! Well, I made it to the 100 mark rating a mediocre lager that does have some taste, but not many other redeeming qualities. Everyone knows what this is and it is made for drinking--like water.
3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 vacantskies (208) - Spokane, Washington, USA - FEB 12, 2010
A drinkable beer. It has an interesting sweet cinnamon flavor. The watery light lager flavor is still there.
1.3 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 4/20 Jblauvs (1264) - Dover, New Hampshire, USA - FEB 8, 2010
Short little bottle. Pretty much your average pale lager. Aroma is sweet and corny with light metallic notes. The flavor reflects this and a thin mouthfeel makes for easy drinking. No offensive like some, it falls near the top of the macro category pale lagers.
2.1 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20 virtuosovii (103) - California, USA - FEB 6, 2010
UPDATED: APR 10, 2010 Of the generic--cheap--mass-produced pale lagers, this one makes it on the top by a little bit. Same old corny bready taste as they all have but a little bit better. Easy to drink, refreshing, boring(?) but decent. And you gotta love the ad campaigns.

500 ml can from LCBO. Pours golden in colour, with large white, frothy head. Aroma and flavour are mildly sweet, corny malt. Easy to drink.
