HOORAY BEER! Red Stripe released the only beer ad that created enough attention from me to finally try it. It’s a little too sweet for me, as this tastes like beer candy, but it’s nothing offensive. Very overpriced due to importation.

Nice brillant yellow color, smooth head, poor flavor and aroma, i think the sun in jamaica is the issue to make this "easy drink" beer. Nice to drink in "Cabo" and listen a good cd of Marley. i think a green and yellow color in te bottle could seel mooore and make of this jamaica beer: The Reggae beer ; ]

Pours straw level with a fizzy head. Aroma is sweet malt, a bit of skunk. Taste is pretty sweet and light, mostly corn with no real bitterness at all. Overall, it is such a nondescript and boring lager that I cannot fathom ever buying this again, or "Getting a taste for" a red stripe, or choosing this over miller. Really, all it has going for it is its marketing campaign.

Bottle. Pours a pale gold with a white head. Skunky hop aroma, taste is rather sweet with out much bitterness to balance it. Not very good.

Pours a straw yellow with little to no head. Smells of straw and skunky hops. Has a skunky hop taste to it, comparible in taste to Heinekin. Seems like something my wife will like, but not quite my style. Not a bad beer, and certainly good for a bit of session drinking, but not something I would seek out. Serving type: bottle

12oz bottle. Poured a straw yellow color with a foamy white head. Nose was yeasty with a hint of hop bitterness. A pretty good pale lager compared to most.

While looking up this beer I discovered Red Stripe light/lite ..in god’s name why? Yellow body/ white head..like a zit. Crisp rice lack of flavor. Adjucts junk. American cheap lager taste forced upon an unsuspecting Jamacian public. Man, this is crap.

Looks crisp and clear. Tastes like water and smells pretty close. I don’t see how this is much better than a Budweiser. Maybe because it’s from Jamaica.
