wacohoover (100), Garland, Texas, USA Mar 27, 2008 Nothing wrong with this beer at all. While it’s not very complex I find it to be very satisfying. It starts pretty average in taste but develops into a good malty flavor in the end. I prefer this from the bottle rather than a glass, and the only time I’ve had this that was good on draft was in London. There’s something that feels good about drinking a Red Stripe to me, even with all the recent really strong advertising for it. KimJohansen (6645), Copenhagen V, Denmark Mar 24, 2008 Clear golden with medium short lasting head. Sweet aroma with notes of malt and corn. Sweet malty flavor with mild bitter finish. Skinnyviking (4142), Copenhagen, Denmark Mar 24, 2008 Bottle. Small fluffy and quickly disappearing white had. Clear light yellow body. Weak corn like aroma. Flavor also very sweet and corn like with little hops bitterness, low carbonation and a short aftertaste. Watery weak, sweet and boring. Waste of time. scoobysnak (249), Appleton, Wisconsin, USA Mar 22, 2008 Nothing special but not bad or inoffensive in any way. Not bad but just really run of the mill, better than the big three though. kidmartinek (972), austin, Texas, USA Mar 20, 2008 Pale, clear yellow lager. Tons of foam on the pour, but quickly goes away with the utmost haste. Smells like good malt with a kiss of hops like schlit, and a decent skunk like a good pils and kinda like Corona ( the beer more fine.). Decent lacing on the glass nonethless. Too bad the mouthfeel is extremely watery, even more runny than water itself. Decent hoppy bland finish. I could drink this if it was chilled to an extremely cold temperature and I was in Jamaica, land of the criminals. greedycheater (80), Oklahoma, USA Mar 19, 2008 This is a complicated specimen. On the surface there is nothing special about this beer - an aroma that is barely noticable, an appearance similar to that of any mass produced American lager and an almost non-descript taste to match. However, this highly carbonated adult beverage has one advantage, it’s from Jamaica Hopdup (71), Tampa, Florida, USA Mar 17, 2008 Typical watery lager. Not too much to say. Better then some, easy to drink, and good on a hot day blutt59 (2042), Dallas, Texas, USA Mar 16, 2008 24 0z. bottle, very light grassy beer with small light head, somewhat crisp but very thin and watery
