First brewed in 1938.
It is a light alcohol drink with not too strong bitterness but rather soft taste; therefore, it’s easy to drink it up.
Brewed for the UK market by Charles Wells since 1976.
Brewed for US market at City Brewery’s Latrobe plant since 2012.

As generic macro lagers go this is on the upper end of the scale. Sweet and a little off flavored but good enough that I’d actually drink it.

Can from Tesco Windy Nook. Pours dark yellow, very little head, middling carbonation. More flavour to it than other standard lagers. Definitely the best of the stuff readily available in cans wherever you go.

Bottle. This lager is surprisingly a nice change from most. With little hints of spice and herbs, it actually stands out more than most. A nice easy drinker with a pleasant aftertaste. Nothing I would go nuts for, but would buy again, maybe

@ Havregatan. Flaska (330ml) från Systembolaget (15:-). Maltig och något fruktig, hö/halm, brödig, ganska liten beska, medelsötma. Avslutningen är något besk med hö/halm-toner.

One of the better shit-sips out there. I imagine most Jamaicans prefer rocking the herb and beer is an afterthought. Highly drinkable metallic malty swill. Pours a little darker than your average Pale Lager with a slightly thicker feel. Everyone loves seeing these stubby lil’ guys at a party.

Bottle sample at a tasting at kerenmk’s place. Thanks kerenmk. Clear golden. Grainy aroma, slightly corny, with a faint metallic note and a bit of hay. Flavor is slightly sweetish and grainy with a slightly bitterish finish. Light-bodied. Not too offensive.

24 Fl. OZ ($2.99) Decent beer, very drinkable with a bit of flavor too. A classic beer to "tie one on"
