Moz (613), Gothenburg, Sweden Dec 16, 2007 Bottle. Yellow colour with a small white head. Malty aroma with notes of paper & corn. Malty, sourish taste. porterhouse (1148), Alna, Maine, USA Dec 15, 2007 (24 oz. bottle from <A HREF=http://www.ratebeer.com/Place/maine/augusta/lou’s-beverage-barn/4790.htm target=blank>Lou’s Beverage Barn) Has some flavor but grows old after after a few quaffs...Pours very pale clear yellow with a white head. Aroma of honey, very light pine. Mouthfeel kind of smooth but a bit pebbly and prickly. Tastes lightly honeyish, very slight hint of dishraggy sourishness. Some pine along with a lightly bitter hit through finish. Better than Heineken. Beerman6686 (1266), Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA Dec 12, 2007 Pours a very pale yellow. Aroma or corn and watery. Very watery. Taste almost as much like water as coors light but smoother. Collint (452), Sylva, North Carolina, USA Dec 10, 2007 yea I have had it in america, i have had it in st.thomas, its all the same, a cheap light beer. Nice to drink while jammin to some reggae. I liked it very much. thanks tikie. TikiE (360), Sylva, North Carolina, USA Dec 10, 2007 An alright beer. Sadly my girl friend let me have it to rate. But from the best I have enjoyed this beer. Very light, and looks light a cheap but taste pretty good. lumberjack (178), Michigan, USA Dec 10, 2007 Bottle @ Churchill’s...Drank this right from the bottle, as it was highly recommended by some Jamaican friends. I figured they were clearly biased, but I tried it anyway. Pale malt flavor with very slight hop bitterness, pretty basic pale lager. Far better than I expected, and it was smoother and cleaner tasting than Bud, Miller etc. betamachine (3), Pasadena, California, USA does not count Dec 9, 2007 Very drinkable beer. Goes down smooth, tastes best very cold, not so much warm. Flavor is not complex at all, not interesting, but plesent. thechandler (268), Morgantown, West Virginia, USA Dec 8, 2007 Pours an average pale golden hue, with an average white head. Taste is pretty average for that of a pale lager. No real hop flavor. no real malt flavor. Just a generic, average "beer" flavor. Average mouthfeel with average bitterness and average depth. Goes down pretty average.
I don’t know about you guys, but in my book, and "average" beer is pretty bad, and not worth trying again. Especially for something as pricey as this. Its just not worth it. Buy a generic American lager. It will taste pretty much the same, and you’’ save a couple of bucks.
