First brewed in 1938.
It is a light alcohol drink with not too strong bitterness but rather soft taste; therefore, it's easy to drink it up.

330 ml bottle. Finland. Clear golden colour with thin head. Grainy malty aroma. Bit sweetish flavour with some alcohol present.

Thin yellow color with almost no head. Aroma is of grains maybee some grassy hints. Taste of grains, a tad sweet. Easy to drink. A thin finish that is a tad sweet.

Nothing particularly special about appearance or aroma; it’s a sort of watery brown, with a sort of watery brown head and a watery brown smell. This beer isn’t good so much as it is ’not bad’. It avoids the heavy flavors and bitterness of other relatively cheap lagers; but other than avoiding pitfalls, it has nothing going for it. Good to go with food when the food needs to be the star.

Bottle. Pours just like you typical macro crap. However, this beer is not offensive in any way shape or form. Not a bad little beer if you need something in a pinch.

Beyond awful, this now mainstream lager has become way too popular here in the UK and I must say this is really a typical childrens lager, designed for the under 20’s. If you are over 20 and you still drink this stuff i’d suggest you don’t know what good beer is. Chemical skunk.

sirpsycho (393) - Murrysville, Pennsylvania, USA - APR 9, 2009
Bottle. Pours a medium yellow, virtually no head but some wispy notes. Aroma is mostly malt, maybe a touch of grass hidden in there. Flavor is malt, cereal, not much else. Rather bland, but I’ve had worse.

Elwood (1834) - Between a rock and a hard place, Virginia, USA - APR 9, 2009
12 oz. bottle. Pours a pale yellow with a small, foamy, white head. The nose is mostly grain with a bit of hops. Medium-high carbonation with a light mouthfeel. Quite a bit of malt sweetness. Grain, corn, and a hint of sugar on the palate. At least a little more hops would make this a bit more refreshing. Fuller bodied than most American versions of the style. Finishes pretty clean with some lingering sweetnes.

Clear gold yellow pour with a thin disappearing white head. Honey sweet and some funky bitter aroma. Taste is very grainy. Clean and crisp though.
