COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
First brewed in 1938.
It is a light alcohol drink with not too strong bitterness but rather soft taste; therefore, it's easy to drink it up.

Clear golden/ yellow with a big frothy white head. Thin texture, no body. Almost like water. Medium carbonation. Skunk malt aroma. Tastes like sink water.

Cool Bottle - pretty retro. Pretty decent beer, It’s been awhile since I’ve had it - but I remember nothing exciting about it. Maybe that’s why I haven’t had it in awhile. I imagine in the heat of a Jamaican Summer - people just want to drink something to quench their thirst, and this beer will do that.

As a yoof about town I used to drink this all the time! So it holds fond memories. Slightly sweet. slight fruitiness. slight bitterness in the mouth and in the finish. maybe it should be called Red Slight!

In bottle; somewhat sweet .. no really body but it is easy drinking and better than CayBrew side by side. Overall, OK as a session drinker on the beach

Extremely pale with obvious carbonation with a big fluffy head. Aromas of stale hay and soggy cardboard. Fresh and cool on the nose, but little in the way of pleasant aromas. Flavours run toward minor malt and lemon zest, but not readily apparent. I suppose this is another time and place beer. Maybe the rating would improve if it was a million degrees and humid as hell outside..

Bottle @ home. Aroma is faint malt and cardboard. Flavour is very faint touch of hop bitterness with some cardboard and malt. Mow, mow mow.
