Pours clear topaz, with a small creamy head that hangs a while. Aroma is toned-down version of typical corn, lager hops and yeast smells. Taste actually has some malt sweetness that balances some flavor against the skunk better than most industrials lagers. Pretty drinkable, but still a factory lager.

Very refreshing. Not too deep, and not enough hops. Very light golden color, almost no head. No distinctive tastes.

Wow, this beer gets RIPPED on this site. It’s a pale lager, people. What did you think it was going to taste like? You want a beer that easy to drink and that wont’ sit on your stomach when it’s 92 degrees outside, you dont’ quaff imperial stouts. Yeah, it’s overpriced, so do like I do and catch it on sale at the supermarket.

Pours a pale gold with a fair to moderate white head. Aroma is a soft bready malt sweetness. Taste is pale malt sweetness, notes of dough and grass along with a slight sourness. Better than a US macro, but not that great. This is in the same league as Foster’s.

Yuch. Very bad tasting. Thanks goodness for the "old school" bottle, or I would have asked for my money back. Why would Cafe Carlo even stock this beer?

I used to love this stuff because of the cool bottles. This beer is way overpriced and definitely not worth buying. Light, watery taste with faint hints of sweet malt. No hop flavor detected.

It’s better than Bud, but the sweetness and bitterness are so faint it’s as if you’r just drinking a warm, cheap beer. Why this stuff is so pricey I don’t know. You definetely don’t need to go to Jamaica to get beer like this.

(Bottle) Pours a golden color with a soapy white head. Sweet malty aroma. Taste is somewhat similar, but less pronounced. The little bitterness in here is mainly confined to the aftertaste. Not too bad for the style though.
