Quietman (160), Florida, USA Mar 27, 2007 Updated: Apr 29, 2007Bottle.White head.Clear gold.Thin body.Long finish.Has some flavor of hops. Not bad for a pale lager.Easy to drink. beervis (223), People’s Republic of Yorkshire, West Yorkshire, England Mar 25, 2007 Rather sweet but with some grassy hop aroma. Smooth and a bit bland but light bodied and pretty drinkable - nowt special but better than a lot of big brand lagers if you just want something to drink in front of the tv. brettpace (179), Northridge, California, USA Mar 24, 2007 Updated: May 9, 2007This is a very good beer, interesting bottle. Much better than a typical lager, but nothing super special. isthismusic (3), Chicago, Illinois, USA does not count Mar 24, 2007 My first rating on ratebeer.com. Well, this is a fairly typical pale lager. Not much aroma, very light, clean, and easy. A bit of melony sweetness presides. Not great but doesn’t have that metallic Budweiser taste, at least. OK lager. farmboy (218), Barwon Heads, Australia Mar 23, 2007 Just your typical average lager. No better or worse than most macros going around. Served very chilled it can be quite drinkable, but not a great beer by any means. STEPHENDR (478), California, USA Mar 20, 2007 12 oz. bottle- color of bight yellow , with a decent frothy white head – sweet dry nose of straw , melon , hay , and mild hops –taste of melon , straw, wet hay , hops , and slight bubblegum- body is light crisp , and medium carbonation – aftertaste of melon , sweet corn , and crisp mybrainhurts (213), North Dakota, USA Mar 16, 2007 Clean, light malty nose. Watery and faint malty sweetness for flavor. Nothing really here, just blandness. revdrdark (8), Jacksonville, Alabama, USA does not count Mar 16, 2007 Like many beers of lesser prestige, cold is the key here. Properly chilled, this beer is a very good accompaniment to bachelor chow--being a Carribean beer, spicy food is ideal--chicken wings, Jumbali, Gumbo, Tejas Chili, Tex/Mex. The draught is off the chain if served cold. Very clean finish for a macro. Garnish with a lime and salt, a la Corona, and wash down some oysters or shrimp. Bon appetit!~
