1.7 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20
Tasted on 6/3/14 from a capped 12oz bottle purchased at Midtown. Pours clear golden with an average fizzy white head that slowly recedes to an average collar. The nose is corny with some light caramel. The flavor is about the same with just a touch of bitterness. The body is light with fizzy carbonation and a short corny, white peppercorn finish.

1.6 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 6/20
Desk Beer in a wine glass. Crystal clear pale golden coloured pour with a fluffy fading white head. Aroma is adjunct heavy, sweet cooked corn, harsh lager notes, stewed veg. Flavour is very thin and chalky, rice, grainy, corn, hint of metalic in the finish. Palate is very thin, water with powdery carbonation. Lingering cooked veg. Terrible beer.

Flaska systembolaget. Ljusgul kulör. Doft av ljust bröd och nyklippt gräs. Väldigt len smak. Nästintill meningslös. Lite maltsmak och väldigt låg beska. Funkar väl som ett alternativ till vatten om man är riktigt törstig

Red Stripe is a standard light lager. It's not a remarkable beer by any means, but it's one you can just drink the hell out of. And enjoy everyone as it goes down. I rate it rather highly for those reasons, not because it has any specialness about it.

Bottle 33cl. Clear pale golden color, small white fluffy head, recedes quicly, a bit of lacing; aroma sweet malty, corn, hay; tast light sweet, corny, slightly bitter, bit metallic; light body, light oil to watery texture, soft carbonation, mild bitter finish; overall probably an quite acceptable pale lager if you sip it at a Jamacain poolside.

2.5 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
12 oz. bottle. It pours a very pale yellow color with a small white head. The aroma is pretty one note with a neutral breadiness. Maybe some crackers and dough, but mostly white bread. Hints of apple. The flavor is non-offensive with more dough, pale malt, apple, pear and just a hint of hop bitterness in the finish. Not much to like or hate here. Another clean but boring industrial Pale Lager.

Look I actually didnt mind this lager. It is what is - clean and crisp and the perfect beer to sink if your already pissed to keep things moving along.
