chicagodri (421), Chicago, Illinois, USA Apr 18, 2008 Clear golden yellow with medium white head. Almost no aroma. Sweet corn/malt flavor and very little else. Besides the fact that they come in stubby bottles, not exciting about this beer.
gameface23 (44), Haverhill, Massachusetts, USA Jul 25, 2008 Bottle. Pours a pale yellow. Nose and taste are average. A refreshing beer for a hot day by the pool BeerBaron617 (80), Novi, Michigan, USA Jul 21, 2008 Had this in the bottle at a bar in Northville, MI. It tasted and looked like a typical mass market lager, or pilsner. It was no frills beer that is overpriced and overrated. ericandersnavy (86), denton, Texas, USA Jul 20, 2008 bottle. poured a clear straw yellow with a thin white head. nose had citrus, floral, and what i believe to be butter. flavor other than horrible was citrus and some nasty malt. this was watery and by far the worst beer i have ever had. rampmaster (122), Alden, New York, USA Jul 20, 2008 Presentation: It was poured form a brown 12oz stubby "medicine bottle" into a pint glass. The body has a light golden yellow color with good clarity. There is some visible carbonation that floats up to the big, white, and foamy head. The head fades quickly and doesn’t leave much lace behind. Its aroma has sweet bready malts that are almost fruity along with some light grain and hay notes. The flavor is very similar to the aroma. The malt has a sweet character with some grainy notes and a mild hop presence that adds just enough bitterness for some balance. It has a clean finish and a light body with decent carbonation to tickle the palate. Overall this is a wonderful lager that go down easy on a hot day. I like to pair this with a fresh cut lawn and a hammock in the shade.
stangger (91), Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA Jul 14, 2008 12oz bottle at sea. I’m pretty sure there’s a giant brewery somewhere in the Caribbean which pumps out one beer into a dozen or so different bottles, and they’re all the official beer of <insert island name>. I’d say this is actually a bit worse than most of the others.
