This beer is way too carbonated. It reminds me of heineken, but it isn’t as crisp. It seems like a beer that should be in a green bottle, though, if that makes any sense.

This beer fills the need for a light lager style beer. Its crisp, refreshing and light. Typical selection for a hot summer day paired well with Mexican fare or BBQ. Its a basic beer - real straightforward with no complex taste. I can get it for $4.50 a sixer, so when I have dinner guests who cannot appreicate a stout or porter, this is usually what I serve them rather than Bud or Coors and a nicer alternative to Corona.

It wasn’t bad. I’ve been striking out with beers lately but this wasn’t a letdown. Pours a light pale colour with a white head. Tasted just like what was expected from a pale lager. I drank this out of a shaker.

I actually really like Red Stripe, I don’t quite know why. It’s one of the better widely available western hemi imports and it’s not a bad beer at all, the only problem being that its not substantial enough to be delicious, or strongly flavored enough to be memorable. It’s a choice beer for those massive football weekends.

No love for the cool runnings of beer? I guess I just got a particularly good one. To be sure, there is nothing spectacular about this macro, and really nothing distinguishes it from the coronas of the world. What can I say? It’s fairly crisp and clean, not too skunky, and good with food.

12 oz bottle. Pours a very light golden color with a medium sized white head. It doesn’t have much of an aroma, maybe slightly skunky. It has a slight bread and cereal taste and a minimal skunky taste. This is a very refreshing beer. I enjoyed it.
