WesKBob (136), Bethany, Oklahoma, USA Apr 17, 2008 Clear golden yellow with lots of carbonation. Very little aroma. Slight taste of corn and malt and just a hint of sweetness. A decent change-of-pace beer on a hot day (when you’re tired of macros or Corona), but not an everyday beer.
decaturstevo (1161), decatur, Tennessee, USA Aug 7, 2008 Rich corn aroma with almost no hops or malt on the nose. Thin gold pour with white head and lace. Corn and a pretty good bitter with light hints of malt. A bit fizzy and thin. Very drinkable for the style not special not bad WakeandBake (12), Greenville, Michigan, USA Aug 3, 2008 Very light color, little aroma. Tastes somewhat of sweet hay, corn ,and hops.I thought it was very expensive for what it is but still drinkable. smjohnst (106), , Pennsylvania, USA Aug 2, 2008 This just tastes like cheap beer. If I paid 13 dollars for this case then I wouldn’t be disappointed but it’s way too pricey for the taste. NextBestThing (10), Westtown, New York, USA Jul 29, 2008 Updated: Jul 31, 2008Have no idea why anyone would rate this higher than Budweiser, Schlitz, or Schaefer. Tastes worse than Corona and I didn’t think this was possible. Has a nice color and of course a good looking bottle. Other than that, it’s torture to drink this beer. Highly, highly carbonated. Grotesque grainy nose. The only way I would ever voluntarily drink this again is if I someday find myself dying of thirst and I inadvertantly stumble across one of these. rayOfBeer (208), El Cerrito, California, USA Jul 28, 2008 Poured from bottle a clear light golden with thin white head. Aroma has hay and sweet malt notes. Flavor is mostly hay, light bread, and touches of sweet malt which finishes with a mild bitterness. Palate is light malt mouthfeel with medium thin body and good carbonation. Overall, there is enough flavor and malt to make this interesting and drinkable on a hot, humid day.
