2 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
Nothing particularly special about appearance or aroma; it’s a sort of watery brown, with a sort of watery brown head and a watery brown smell. This beer isn’t good so much as it is ’not bad’. It avoids the heavy flavors and bitterness of other relatively cheap lagers; but other than avoiding pitfalls, it has nothing going for it. Good to go with food when the food needs to be the star.

Bottle from Candia road.
Pours a crystal clear light golden color with a decent sized bubbly white head and an almost never ending stream of carbonation rising from the bottom of the glass. Smells of light sweet malt, a hint of dms and little else. The flavor is sweet with a hint of cooked corn. Very light spicy hop flavor and bitterness. Medium to light body with a spirited level of carbonation and a slick watery mouthfeel. Nothing offensive but just a typical macro lager with nothing exciting as well.

A pale golden yellow coloured beer with a weak white head. A very light aroma of dusty malt and mildly fruity hop. Dry and fizzy mouthfeel. The taste follows on from the aroma, a light combination of pale malt and fruity hop. The finish is dry.

Served chilled in Lager Glass. Smell from bottle was strong and slightly skunky but from glass is a light, hoppy or hay aroma. Beer is very simple in taste, watery with a medium bitterness. There is a very light aftertaste that is quite pleasant. Beer is a pale golden colour with a small white head. Head dissipates almost to quickly to taste.
The beer has a light to medium body. a thin texture and a large amount of carbonation that gives it character. The finish is light and bitter but dies off quickly.
Plain, but would make a very good starter or conversation beer
