24 oz. bottle. Pours very light yellow ( with an orangish tint) with a nonexistent head. Aroma is crispy with tastes of citrus The flavor is a odd for a lager- more like a corn beer. An interesting pour that is better than many American lagers.

Jamaica’s national standard lager, since 1938, though the name seems to have been in existence already before that year, for a kind of local soda pop. Thin, loose head, yellow blonde colour with fierce sparkling. Neutral aroma, some rice, floral hops; taste equally neutral, thin and even a bit watery, sweetish rice, minerals, light sourishness, low body, little hops in the finish. Boring but thirst-quenching as usual for the style.

Oh what can I say... Refreshing, too sweet, everything you would expect really. Good when it is very warm. Bottle from Van Nap

Can - brewed in the UK. Golden with a bubbly white head, good retention and good lacing. Aroma of orange and dusty malt. Pretty unpleasant. Taste of lager malts, grass, light bitterness. Incredibly watery. Light body, high carbonation.

Beer has a bite to it but nothing else. The bite is there but bland. Bad smell. Okay appearance. Okay taste. It hits the palate!

Light straw color. White head. decent lacing. It’s a lager, not really much to say. It’s not great, but it’s not bad.

Bottle at Bath Beach, Barbados,12th August 14. Pretty flavourless lager, not a surprise, prefer other available beers in the Caribean

Bottles at home. Standard industrial pale yellow look with only a slight head. Nose slightly more interesting than other pales, tastes also slightly less watered. Standard thirst quencher.

Aroma: malty and mainly herbs, there is a pinch of citrus. Appearance: clear golden-straw color, poor white head. Taste: low bitterness, malty backbone, there is something like a citrus pinch, slightly zesty. Palate: low body and medium carbonation. Overall: Pretty good lager.

Pours a light golden color with a huge, bright white head. Darn good lacing. Aromas of licorice and hops. A honey palate, with a tinge of orange flavoring. Definitely not a session beer, but a great chugable beer on a hot day after mowing the lawn. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
