Bottle from notes. Pours a clear dark golden/light amber color with a small off white head. The aroma and flavor have very sweet malt character, fruit, tart grapes, cereal grains, thin, just not something I enjoy and makes me glad I don’t have food allergies.

"a little sharper and sweeter than a bud, but otherwise completely avoidable. i tried it for the novelty, but that was about it. thin and boring, but not horrible. i’d take a free one/wouldn’t ever buy it."

Transfer from BA review on 5-10-13- Poured from bottle into a pint glass Appearance – Pours a nice amber color with big carbonation bubbles seen streaming through the clear body forming a fizzy white head upon pouring. The head fades very fast leaving no lace on the sides of the glass. Smell – The aroma is sweet with a decent apple cider like smell mixed with a bit of caramel. With these aromas are some other aromas of white wine and a bit of a pear smell. Taste – The taste begins very light in flavor with hints of apple cider and some bitterness of a vinegar like taste. The bitterness gets a bit stronger as the flavor advances with the fruit transitioning a bit to a apple/pear like flavor blend. In the end a mainly more apple cider vinegar flavor with some odd malt like flavors and a paper flavor are left on the tongue. Overall there is very little flavor here with just a hint of sweet fruits, vinegar, and a bit of malt/grain. Mouthfeel –The body of the beer is very thin and watery with a carbonation level that is a bit on the lower side. The thinner body, while decent for the odd flavor profile, was actually rather too thin for my liking with a carbonation level that was far too low for its drinkability. Overall – Nope. Not doing this one again that is for sure. Not too nice drinking.

bottle. Poured clear gold with a white frothy head. Sweetcorn aroma. Light body with fizzy carbonation, a bit tart. Fairly bland, a touch of lemony citrus with the slightest peppery finish.

>> Pours clear amber orange with little to no foam with zero retention. Nose is apple cider. Taste up front is sour apple cider, light sour bite, pool water. Lemony, tea finish. At least there is no dustiness or stale pine. No hop character nor malt. Super light bodied. Inoffensive, but not enjoyable.

Tried this once when my wife bought a six-pack out of sheer curiosity. Pours an amber color with off-white head. Very sweet to the nose and on the palate. Sweeter than I would have liked, but it’s gluten free. Overall, not bad.

This is weird and doesn’t really taste like barley beer but it’s not bad. It is orange golden--a shade darker than a Pilsener maybe--w/ a small white head of medium bubbles. The nose on this, I am just not sure what is going on. It smells like tart lemon and a small amount of mint or something. This is light bodied but still has something of an oily slickness despite it’s vigorous carbonation. The taste follows the aroma for the most part, very mild but citrusy and lemony in a way that is not common to beer--almost tastes like there is a small amount of lemon juice added or something. It finishes quick and crisp w/ some lingering fruity notes. As strange as this is, it is still very much drinkable and I could put down several of these had I no other option and I would not complain. It is a cut above some of the other gluten-free nonsense beers I have had for this reason but it is still not the best of its kind by a long shot.
