thanks ms.crate...pours with low head, and low lacing...tastes like a coppery apa...pretty good, all things considered...steptoe....alittle strange in taste but could be worse!

Bottle. Head is initially small, fizzy, off-white, mostly diminishing. Body is clear light amber. Aroma is lightly malty (toasted grain), lightly to moderately hoppy (grapefruit, flowers). Flavor is moderately sweet, lightly acidic, lightly bitter. Finish is lightly sweet, lightly acidic, moderately bitter. Medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation. A-B clearly deserves props for this one out of all their pseudo-micro attempts, at the very least for being much more enjoyable than microbrewed sorghum beers like Lakefront New Grist and Bardís Tale Dragonís Gold (both of which are pretty much undrinkable). Surprisingly hoppy and balanced, and nothing particularly foul about it.

Bottle to half-pint glass (shared with the Mrs.). Looks alright; a transparent gold with thin white head that dissipates quickly. Smells pretty bland with a bit of hops and a hint of apple juice. Below average on the palate. Not good.

Tallahassee, Fl. - Killearn Liquors - 12 oz bottle. Medium golden pour with an amber tint to it - initial white head fades quickly. Not much of an aroma, whatís there is industrial type watery aroma. Slightly metallic flavor with hints of pepper and ripened vegetables. Mouthfeel is slightly stinging. Advise drinking only under Drís orders. Curious that AB chose to put their name on this one but not the Wild Hop and Stone Mill.

Bottle: At least 4 shades darker than Iíd expected, virtually amber. Not much of a head at all. Super sweet aroma, almost lemonade-like. Flavor is odd -- sweet, musty, grainy, almost a bitter apple twist. Real light in body. Maybe a bit better than Iíd imagined, but still not very enjoyable. God bless celiacs, if this is the best we can do for them. (#2846, 5/7/2007)

12oz bottle from the state wine store
Appearance: Clear copper with a small white head that dissipates quickly, no lacing
Aroma: Yeast, bready and citrus
Taste: Sweet grassy, salty and slightly bitter
This is the second sorghum beer Iíve tried, this is the better of the two but not much. footbalmed

Gluten Free #3: Amber bodied with a head that rapidly reduces to a film, this has an aroma of straw, overly ripe apples, and candy. Itís watery and tastes of grapefruit rind and soap. The finish has a dried grass bitterness. Another delight from A-B!

Poured an amber color with a medium sized, off white head that left nice lacing on the glass. Aroma of caramel, some bubblegum, and sorghum, pretty sweet. Taste was strong caramel, a bit of citrus, toast, and a light bitterness. Probably the biggest bodied, gluten-free beer iíve had.

Bottle yeah i didnt read the label i hate sorghum but that aside it was drinkable, i pity the gluten allergy community, i hope there is a support group for this. Amber with a white head. Malty with a caramel body, but still a bit like bark with how chewy the malt comes out. A hint of citrus and gummy notes. Decent for what it is.
