750 ml bottle from ericandersnavy- thanks a lot, Eric! Pours a hazy gold color with a big off-white head. Notes of lemon and orange citrus, apricots, peppery spices, sweet bread, herbs, and funk. Medium-bodied, with medium carbonation and a fruity, funky mouthfeel. Wow, nice saison. Really blew away expectations.

[Bottle] Murky orange colored pour with a large white head. Nice lacing as well. Nose is of light fruits, brett and lemongrass. Taste is of peach, pear, white pepper, lemon and tangy yeast. The finish is dry and surprisingly sour. Highly carbonated. Nicely balanced. Good stuff! Tasting notes from 12/2011.

Enjoyed at the Black Friday Tasting courtesy of swillbur pouring up murky grapefruit juice supporting a near white head. The aroma is yeasty spices, mild yeasty funk, peach and some vague tartness and more funky yeast. The taste is similar with a refreshing mix of spicy yeast, smooth tartness, some soured funk and assorted soft fruity notes. Nice stuff.

The pour is a cloudy yellow color with a tall white head. A very, very tropical aroma. Nicely bretty with tons of straw and pineapple. Light grass notes, a bit of bread sweetness, and a hint of citric tartness. The flavor is full of fresh pineapple flavor and also has a very good lemon zest note. A light sweetness of bread and tropical fruit. Mild grass, a touch of earth and yeast, and white pepper.
