womencantsail (6902) - Garbage Grove, California, USA - SEP 4, 2012
Amber in color with a finger or so of off-white head. An interesting nuttiness on the nose along with lots of toffee and brown sugar. A nice tropical fruit note of pineapple and mango. Light citrus peel and some whiskey and vanilla. The flavor is quite sweet with lots of vanilla and graham cracker. Sweet caramel and brown sugar. A nice citrus and tropical fruit flavor profile which adds to the sweetness. Could have used a bit more complexity, but still good.

(750ml bottle thanks to ericandersnavy) clearish deep gold with a ring of fine white bubbles. Nose of pineapple juice, candi sugar, brown sugar. Taste is rich and buttery (in a good way), sweet corn (again, a good thing), waffles and maple. Dry finish on this one, quite sweet overall. Coming from a malt-head, I loved it!

Bottle. Pours a cloudy dirty gold with a white head that dissipates nearly completely. Aroma has notes of whiskey and bread with a backing light fruit. Flavor has notes of sweet bread and grain with a bit of whiskey and some light fruit.

well, another cuvee .. . Pours a deep gold .. foam was alright, lacing decent .. . light booze, honey yeast, and wet sweet muddled young barrel .. . muddled and odd .. . . I think that I shall never see, my cataracts are blinding me.
