A satisfying body of malt from the maris otter, munich, and crystal malts in the grist balanced with a big fruit salad hop aroma from generous late and dry hopping.

Bottle at home, from ABM, 08/03/14. Hazed dark amber/Frank Coopers orange with a well appointed off white head that retains well. Nose is pulped mango, dusty hops, tropical medley, caramel, papaya. Taste comprises earthy hops, good mineral pang, bitter grapefrruit, orange pith, mango. Medium bodied, soft massageing carbonation - Redchurch really know how to get this right in the bottle another pitch perfect feel, semi drying closure laced with juicy hop bitterness. solid IPA.

Pours a slightly hazy light amber, with lasting finger of head. A fantastic aroma batters the drinker with, pineapple, mango, tangerine and hop resins. Good solid mouthfeel with perfect carbonation. A strong citrus bitterness dominates the taste, however layers of tropical fruit and some piney resins are present if a little muddled. A sweeter candied citrus peel and golden malt character help to balance the beer, but leave a enough bitterness to satisfy hop heads.

Bottle from Hop Hideout, Sheffield. Cloudy, pale orange, amber. Thin, but tight, white head. Strawberry jam on toast. Some grapefruit juice. Hint of pineapple. Taste is sweet, at first. Grapefruit bitterness kicks in, seconds later. Full bodied. Oily. Nice beer, apart from the bitterness feeling a little harsh, and a tad metallic.

Bottle at home. Pours very cloudy golden/amber with a lacy white head. Aroma is yeast, citrus fruits, pineapple and grassy. Taste is mild soapy, very bitter and light sweet. Very grassy. Medium bodied and silky texture. Not so good.

UPDATED: MAR 27, 2014 Pours hazy copper with two-finger clean white head. Excellent lacing. Aroma is bold grapefruit, some generic citrus, a little tropical (mango) with some notes of pine. Medium body with decent carbonation. Extremely juicy. Bitter grapefruit pulp devours the taste buds. Some sweet tangerine on the front palate, again some pine and beautiful sturdy bready-malt backbone. Bitterness is provided throughout in the form of bitter citrus and tails off gradually, lovely dry moreish finish. Well balanced, loud and brash beer. One of my favorites.

Bottled 21/12/13. An orange coloured beer with a little whitish head. Good hops with some peachy notes but the malts are over sweet and it becomes a bit chewy. It’s tasty enough but doesn’t have the hop profile I desire.
