Bottle from Utobeer, London.
Pours dark brown-black with a single finger tan coloured head. Aroma of chocolate, smokiness, coffee, spices...Taste of initial chocolate and creamy flavours then some coffee, smoky, bitterness, breadiness, lemon. Very nice!

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle, picked up at the brewery, and supped at home. Chestnut brown, and I’m guessing cloudy, given the amount of sediment that came out after rinsing the bottle. Film of tan head. Dark chocolate. Milk chocolate. Coffee grinds. Some liquorice. Some charred wood. Lots going off. Taste is light bitter. Quite dry. Smidge of chocolate sweetness. Palate is a little thin, and dry. Bit too fizzy, too. Finishes earthy dry. Light bitter. I’d put a fiver on this being much better from a cask.

Bottle. My first from this brewery. Medium body. Slightly dry with some maltiness. Very well balanced and quite delicious. Minimalist label adds to a classy beer.
