Aroma: Smelling of nettles, red apples and hay. Appearance: A clear straw colored beer. A white head with small lacing and small curtains. Taste: Tasting sweet bread, pears and grape-fruit. Palate: Low carbonation, a soft texture. A medium body with a somewhat dry finish. Overall: A clean ale, well balanced, easy to drink. Note: On-tap at RedDot Boat Quay. Reviewed 2013-01-10.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20 BelgianBeerGal (2615) - Dayton Area, Ohio, USA - JUL 27, 2012
Draft at Dempsey Road location. Really surprised by the lower ratings here. To me this was a bright, refreshing beer with a nice maltiness and enough hops to give it a touch of bite. Nice to drink on a hot evening.
2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20 JorgeLee (770) - Greater London, ENGLAND - DEC 2, 2011
Tap at the brewpub. As described, pale gold ale, light on the palate, some fresh hoppy flavour, slightly sweet, finishes quickly. Pleasant, not remarkable.
2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 Lubiere (8335) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - AUG 20, 2011
Another pale blonde ale with a thin white head. In aroma, a light carmale malt with light berries and floral hops. In mouth, a smooth sweet malt with light lichee notes, some light floral hops, lightly oily in mouth, not too bad. On tap at brewpub, July 11 2011.
3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 Oakes (10941) - Savusavu, FIJI ISLANDS - JUN 28, 2010
Dullish gold and sparkly. Pleasing fruity aroma - lime, maybe papaya or mango. Bouncy fruity notes - very fresh tasting beer. Good balancing malts and just enough bitterness.
3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 Beershine (5174) - The Sunshine State, Florida, USA - JUN 22, 2010
Draft @ brewpub. Bright gold with great ice cream scoop of a head that lasts. Lively effervescence. Looks very similar to the house Kolsch but better head. Fresh herbal hop aroma is very leafy. Has a light body but full flavor. Quaffable! Lingering hop finish has excellent bitterness quality with a hint of perfume. Very nice flavors although thin in body, I could easily have had another. I don’t get the hate!
2.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20 nate2g (1548) - Boomtown! / Waikato, NEW ZEALAND - SEP 26, 2009
Draught at Red Dot, Singapore. Clear golden with white head that completely diminished. Aroma and flavour of malt and light citrus. Thin bodied. Fizzy carbonation. Sweet and fizzy finish. Boring.
1.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 5/20 alagnak (467) - Littleton, Colorado, USA - JUN 22, 2009
On tap @ Brewerkz as the monthly ’guest tap’. Looked nice and has a decent nose, a little floral and nicely sweet. Flavor is something else altogether. As noted by others, it’s really over-carbonated and generally felt very heavy. Really heavy sweet malt flavor with some dirty fruit and a kind of rotten grass thing going on. Finishes fairly bitter, but not really in a good way. The opposite of a thirst-quenching summer beer.

My first impression was that this was bigger than the mass market Singapore beers. My next thought was that I did not really have next thought about it. It was just not interesting ... in any way.
