Sample from the Redd’s promo girls at Sweet Lime’s. I just want to say that this is a cider. I feel like I need to get that information out there because the commercials and the marketing are very misleading by insinuating this is a beer. This is a cider, folks. A very sweet, as in straight apple juice and add sugar, cider.

Bottle - this is NOT an ale and I have a wicked headache after one bottle. This is a shite attempt by miller. This is a cider with an aroma of farts. I'm done.

Saw this beer as a Super Bowl ad and was surprised to see it in the store the next day. The beer in my bottle looks nothing like the beer on display here: Mine is a bright golden color. The smell is of cider. It tastes like perhaps an apple shandy, that is, it tastes like cider and beer mixed together. It was not unpleasent, but I enjoy beer with more body (and hops).

This was available here in Utah for a week or so. I really liked it when I could get it.

UPDATED: APR 23, 2013 Bottle. Pours an ultra clear yellow-orange color with no head. If this is an ale and not a cider, why is there no head?. Aroma is apple cider, sweet tarts and light caramel. Taste is moderately sweet and very tart. Tastes is close to apple cider but there seems to be something that makes it taste a bit artificial. There is a bit of caramel that comes through which is nice. Finish is very dry and tart. Overall, not terrible but I won’t go back to this. I don’t drink ciders often and I’ve had many better than this.

Sampled from a 12 oz clear bottle this beer poured a dark amber color with a small soapy white head that faded instantly and left a touch of lacing. The aroma was sour and tangy apple juice. The flavor was sour and tangy apple juice with a bit of cinnamon and yeast. Medium length sour and tart apple finish. Medium body. Decent.

More like apple juice. The aroma is apple, sligh caramel. The appearance is clear yellow/orange, white head. The flavor is apple upfront, caramel, little tartness. The finish is tart apple. Medium in body. Not really like a beer, but not bad.

Tasted this at Rudy's in Phoenix while enjoying some delicious Texas BBQ. Great crisp flavor like a cider, but heavier like an ale. Perfect beer to go with the spicy flavor of the BBQ.

Light, crisp and refreshing. In terms of flavor, it has far more in common with a pleasant hard cider than a "beer". One of my new favorites.

Bottle from Smiths 4% version I guess....Pours a clear golden color with a tiny bubble of head. A sweet apple nose. Unoffensive, solid ciderish flavor, some big sweetness, apple pie crust. Decent. Pretty smooth and has a decent big flavor.
