16oz can. Pours a light amber color with fizzy head that evaporates immediately. Aroma is grainy macro beer with some apple scent. Flavor is mostly apple with some pale lager mixed in. Light bodied and thin, unimpressive. There are much better beers and much better ciders than this out there, I would only ever drink this again if I was absolutely craving a cider and this was the only thing available.

UPDATED: APR 30, 2013 This beer is one of the top cider beers on the market. This is a very clean and crisp beverage with very simple flavors. Great for beginner beer drinkers.

A golden color with no head. Its like cider with a hint of swill going on. Its confused. A taste of apples with some sweet corn flavor going on. I won’t complain because this is working as a kick arse hangover cure.

Very sweet, dry, hardly an ale, cidery, bot as fizzy as a cider. Palate and aroma are short and quick to the point.

Tastes like Bud Light mixed with Woodchuck...

Bottle: The aroma consists of apple juice with a hint of cinnamon. It pours a transparent dull gold with a small fizzy white head that quickly fades to a very fine ring. Once it settles, it almost looks still. The flavor starts with straight apple juice. The finish might have a touch of cinnamon. It’s light bodied with lightly fizzy carbonation. Overall, if you like apple juice, I find it hard to be offended by this cider. It’s about as far from world class as it is from offensive. I guess I’m not as picky as most, but seriously, how offensive is apple juice. It’s not what I want in a beer, but it’s hardly disgusting on a hedonistic scale. It’s an easy drinking summer refresher.

Most ciders give me immediate heartburn, this "ale" doesn’t. This is the reason for the higher rating. Decent nose, pleasant crispness, super easy drinking summer beer.

12oz bottle, shared by Lindsey. Totally clear golden orange color. Minimal off-white head. Nose aroma is exactly like an apple cider. Light tart, but less than in your typical cider. More sweet, but not cloying, not bad. Some decent cinnamon. Medium body. Smooth, lighter carbonation. Mildly sticky in the finish. Not that bad.. Very cider-like.

Can, “thanks” Mitch. Pours mostly clear gold thin white head. Smells like apple candy with a touch of grain. Very empty flavor wise. Light apple, very watery. Not much going on. Not offensive or bad, just really empty.

Bottle: A quick pour yields a large, but short-lived fizzy white head. Lots of bubbles. Smells of apple cider, actually quite good and fresh. The flavor seems a bit watered down, but it bears a strong resemblance to sparkling cider. I guess I’ll plead ignorance to the defining requirments of the two styles, but this seems to be more of a cider than fruit beer.
